Renovations are underway here at our center!
Dinah has been taking care of the Comfort Golden Age Center and its members for over 10 years, getting her start by helping out as a volunteer and initially as Director. Since taking on her role as the Executive Director, she has continued to carry on the legacy of serving and supporting seniors in need in the Comfort area. Dinah, along with the generous help and support of many volunteers, donors, and few employees, has pushed the Center to grow by implementing new activities, programs, and services, and this growth continues, as more activities and programs are added every month. Dinah’s wish and hope for the future of the Golden Age Center: “We want word to get out to our community so that people become more aware of what we do, the services we provide, and how we can help. We will continue to grow, and we strive to make our center the go-to place for aging adults in our community.”
Robin Pate
Robin is a proud Air Force wife, native of Kerrville, and thrilled to be back in the Texas Hill Country after 25 years traveling the globe with her husband, Andrew, while he was on active duty. The Pates are delighted to call Comfort home, and Robin is excited to work in and serve the community where she lives. Robin's grant writing career began at KLRN, the public television station in San Antonio, but she took a break to raise and homeschool their daughters. After refreshing her skills with a master’s degree, Robin is excited to be grant writing again for such a meaningful organization.
